Improved Access

We aim to give our patients an appointment or a telephone consultation with a Primary Health Care professional within 24 hours and a GP within 48 hours.

“Primary Health Care Professional” This could be any healthcare professional who is a member of the practice or wider primary care team, including practice nurses, district nurses or health visitors.

“Within 24 hours” means the end of the following normal working day (not Saturday or Sunday)

“Within 48 hours” means within two normal working days (not Saturday or Sunday) following the day when the request was made.
